                 Hi I'm Paul I'm 23 and from the U.K.
"I taught at a secondary school for five months in Thailand , following a full time TEFL course. The TEFL is a great way to warm yourself up for the real thing, as you will be thrown in at the deep end! Teaching a class of 40 to 50 kids with a low level of spoken English will seem overwhelming at first, but persevere and you will come away with fond memories. Thai children are very polite and have an avid curiosity towards Westerners, so you will be warmly received from your first class.

Whilst teaching, I lived with a Thai family. I must say now that there is no better way to learn a foreign language! It can be difficult and frustrating at first not being able to communicate - there is so much you want to say but you just can't get it out. You will however come away not only with some very strong friendships, but also a greatly improved ability to speak Thai!

When combined with the opportunities of diving courses around the beautiful beaches of Thailand, easy travel to nearby Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Myanmar and Southern China, and having the chance to take part in charity work across the country, you realise how lucky you are to be able to come and teach in Thailand."
