My experience in Thailand as a volunteer has been fantastic. The host family that I stayed with was lovely and took very good care of me and I loved the school I taught at. I am not the most outgoing of people so the size of the school that I taught at was perfect for me, and the students were so nice. |

My teaching and Thai skills have definitely improved as well. I am so proud that I nailed 'Hello Hi!' on the last day, because as an icebreaker on my first day on the job, I tried to get the students to shout, 'Hello!' if I shouted, 'Hi!' and vice versa. It failed dismally, but worked out on my last day. |

The only drawback for me was that there wasn't any Falangs (foreigners) nearby for me to speak properly to, or to travel with. I am too much of a wimp to go on my own. However, the kindness of the Thai people I met astounded me, and I never felt alone. |

Some of the most memorable times of my trip have been while I've been traveling through the countryside with some of my many Thai friends to local roadside cafes and sitting down to have some delicious Thai food. |

| Overall I loved my experience, I love Thailand , I love teaching and I love my host family. I have had such a positive experience, and learned so much that I will be able to use in the future. I'm sure that the students I taught enjoyed it as much as me, and that they learnt just as much as me.
Dragonfly are lovely too.
Thank you!!!
