If you’re looking for something special to do to help out, you could organize your own Dragonfly-sponsored fundraising campaign.  You can think of an event or a challenge to meet, and raise money towards one of our volunteer or sponsorship projects or your own volunteer placement.

Dragonfly will provide you with support and a link to your own private page on our website that you can send to friends, family, and anyone else who will support your efforts.

This is an example page of what your own fundraising webpage could look like.  You will have the freedom to add all your own text and photos.

 

Hello this is Mhairi, I'm going to Thailand in eight months time.  I'm going to work as a volunteer in a little village somewhere in the Northeast of Thailand. (This is where you put your own introduction to tell everyone what it is you are trying to raise the money for.)

You will also have your very own personalized newsletter that you can send out to everyone you know so they know exactly what events are coming up, where and when. Once you’ve confirmed your fundraising project, we can discuss with you what we need to design your webpage.
