Dragonfly offers opportunities to work with wildlife, provide care for orphans, teach English, coach football, and build buildings for communities in need. When you volunteer with a Dragonfly project, you join a community of dedicated people working to make a difference in the lives of others.
How does volunteering work?
You can sign up up for the project and time that's right for you, and we'll help with all the information and preparation you need before you leave home. Each month’s volunteers will be met at the airport by a Dragonfly staff member and will travel to Nakhon Ratchasima (Khorat) where Dragonfly is based. In Khorat you’ll participate in our Thai Language & Culture course then project-specific training before heading off to your placement. At your project, you’ll move into your accommodation and begin your volunteer duties on a full-time basis. You’ll have opportunities to tour the local area on days off or meet up with Thai friends and other volunteers.
Why should I join the Dragonfly Community?
The people and projects that we work with are in need of your support and the opportunities you can help provide through your contact with them and the contribution you make. For you, the rewards are countless. New friends, perspectives, skills, and unique experiences are just a few of the benefits you can gain from your experience.
