As a volunteer, you’ll be able to learn about sustainability and appropriate building technologies and materials in a totally hands-on way – by doing it yourself! You’ll make mud-bricks, build buildings and other structures, finish and repair existing buildings, fix and make roofs, garden, construct water storage tanks, and more.
Dragonfly has also been helping with a massive project - to build a wooden bridge to the Whispering Seed farm site, and depending on the status of that construction, volunteers this time around may also help out with carpentry and other bridge-related tasks.

We’re looking for dedicated individuals who aren’t afraid of breaking a sweat! A large part of your fee will go directly to the Whispering Seed project, and will also be used to cover your food and accommodation expenses while there.
Whispering Seed is in a remote location. It’s stunningly beautiful but there’s no 7-11 around. You’ll have to be prepared to bathe without hot water and take turns helping with the cooking. This placement is real work, but it will make a real difference!
